Diana walked toward Lyla who was checking out a book on the shelf. She lowered her voice so only Lyla would hear.
Diana: "Do you think Fiona seems a little weird?"
Lyla: "It's hard to say. I don't really know her. She is a bit intimidating though."
Diana: "Maybe I'm just being paranoid."
The group searched around the house, but failed to find anything significant. They took a lunch break and continued again to no avail.
As the day grew shorter, worry set into their minds. Emilio had still not returned.
Fiona: "Jack. It's getting late. You should come inside."
Jack: "I never should have let him swim all the way out their alone."
Marcus: "Fiona is right, Mr. Yang. We can wait for him inside the house."
Jack: "I'll stay out here. The rest of you should go inside and get some rest."
Lyla: "Are you sure you'll be alright out here, Mr. Yang?"
Jack: "I'll be fine."
The group went inside and up to their rooms for the night.
Lyla: "Poor, Mr. Yang. He must be feeling so guilty right now."
Diana: "I can't even imagine."
Lyla: "Emilio is probably alright. Right? I mean he's Emilio. He probably just lost track of time. He'll be back tomorrow."
Diana: "Definitely."
The girls got into bed. After Lyla fell asleep, Diana felt the urge to explore again.
